Labor Day weekend

We were suppose to go to St. Louis this weekend to visit James' mom and sister but Miss O decided to get a double ear infection and Mr. J had a snotty nose/coughing virus so our weekend away was cancelled.  We did do a few fun things around KC though(and hopefully didn't infect too many other kids!)
On Friday we went to see Clifford the Big Red Dog at crown center.  O was a little shy at first and then got into it.  There were alot of kids there!  Here she is in the kitchen:
Here's J in the "backyard."  The things he is looking at spin.  He loved spinning them!

Sorry you have to turn your head.  I can't figure our how to flip the picture! :)
One more of O, she is at the "sand box."  She built this herself!

For lunch we went to Fritz's.  For those of you who do not know, Fritz's is a hamburger place that serves your food to you by a train!  The train in the picture below runs on a track all around the restaurant.  The little tray below the train carries your food to your table in a box.  Once it get to your table it is lowered down.  It's hard to explain but every cool!
The kids loved it!!  And J ate a whole jar of veggies! (see previous blog to see why this was such an accomplishment!)  James asked if he needed to build a train track in our house.  I said yes. :)  The morning was great but J didn't get his morning nap so this is what he looked like at the end of lunch:
We did something fun today but I will need to blog about that later.  O just woke up from her nap and she always wants to type!
Oh, and the food combinations from last blog, those are O's new creations.  She actually loves the peaches in mustard and has done it several times!  Seems gross to me!
