I said I would blog the second part of our Branson trip in December. I just looked and I really don't have that many pictures. The Butterfly Palace really was the highlight I guess!
Here are two family pictures we took at the "chicken restaurant." They really were the best family photos of the trip. And yes, S does have corn bread in his hand. In his defense, it was good corn bread. :)
Later that day we went to Silver Dollar City. We ran into a huge traffic jam on the way there. Apparently the weekend before Christmas everyone goes to Silver Dollar City! It took us about an hour and a half to get a parking spot. It should have taken a 1/3 of that time! Anyway, we got in and it was packed but we managed to get to go on a train ride and a carousel ride. The train was a bit cold but fun since you don't get to go on too many train rides in the dark with Christmas lights! The carousel was fun. We have gone on carousel rides every time we go to our zoo but O always wants to sit on the peacock bench and not on an animal. There wasn't a bench at this one so she had to sit on an animal. I wish I had my camera(there was a mix-up with the battery- it was still charging at the condo when we were at Silver Dollar City!). O loved the carousel! Her face was so happy, I will probably never forget it! Now if I could only convince her to ride on of the animals at the zoo carousel!
The next day we headed home. On the way we stopped by Fantastic Caverns which is a ride through cave. I took a few pictures but none involved the kids so I'll only post my favorite pictures.
